Mini & Junior Rugby
YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU
The mini & junior sections at Hornsea are the future of the club and is enjoyed by many. Although we sit as
a section within the club, we have our own sub committee and take part in way the club is run
and in particular make the best decisions for players.
The sub committee at this time is solely made up of the coaches, however if YOU feel you would like to be
part of the decision making within the Mini & Junior section please let us know we are looking to expand
this sub committee to involve you and your needs. This is our offer to you to become part of this, in
whatever capacity you feel you can. Do not be put off by the word committee, it’s not as formal as it sounds
and can be good fun and rewarding. Above all else, anything that anyone can offer will make a difference.
If being part of the committee is not for you any help with assisting the coaches with their work would also
be greatly appreciated.
If you can help out and/or are willing to join the committee, please contact Russ Towse on 01964 543150
or Ray Badcock on 01964 535153 and we will happily discuss things in more detail. Remember from coffee
making to coaching, it’s a team game.
The Mini & Junior Section Registration will be held on Sunday September 5th in the clubhouse
at the Recreation Ground, Hornsea. Following the first Training session.
Subscription rates have unfortunately had to be raised this season to £20 per player or £30 per Family.
The club caters for both boys and girls from the age of 6 years & upwards. The registration is for both mini
and junior players for the coming season. This is also the time to bring friends along who have not yet
been introduced to rugby and give them a small taste of what belonging to Hornsea RUFC & the rugby
family is all about.
So come along and see Ray and the team in readiness for the new season.
