Mini & Junior Rugby
YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU
The mini & junior section at Hornsea are the future of the club and is enjoyed by many. Although we sit as
a section within the club, we intend this year to form our own committee and take part in way the club is run
and in particular make the best decisions for players.
The committee will be made up of parents, coaches and others and has already enjoyed growth during the
closed season. It cannot however, have enough members or input and needs more people to volunteer to
assist during the coming season. This is my offer you to become part of this, in whatever capacity you feel
you can. Do not be put off by the word committee, it’s not as formal as it sounds and is for the most good
fun and rewarding. Above all else, anything that anyone can offer will make a difference.

or 07799 555588 and I will happily discuss things in more detail. Remember from coffee making to
coaching, it’s a team game.
The Mini & Junior Section Registration evening will be held on Thursday September 7th in the clubhouse
at the Recreation Ground, Hornsea. Proceedings will commence at 7pm.
The club caters for both boys and girls from the age of 6 years & upwards. The evening is for both mini
and junior players and their parents or guardians, past and present, to come along, catch up and register
for the coming season. This is also the time to bring friends along who have not yet been introduced to
rugby and give them a small taste of what belonging to Hornsea RUFC & the rugby family is all about.
So come along and see Ray, Tom and the team in readiness for the new season.
