Yorkshire four

Hornsea  10     Bramley  31

Hornsea suffered their heaviest home league defeat in recent seasons as they went down by 31 points to
10 against Bramley who adapted to the atrocious weather conditions much better than the Hollismen.
Bramley opened the scoring after just five minutes when they won turnover ball on the Hornsea twenty two
with their centre racing to the line.  Hornsea hit back immediately with Martyn Pace latching on to a clever
kick through by Dave Johnson to score under the posts, Tom Copeland converted.  This was just about
the only positive in the game for Hornsea, as their opposition completely dominated man for man.
Although missing five first team regulars the Hollisman still fielded a strong enough side to win the game,
but the will to win was not there and the team need to regroup in time for next weeks important league
game at Old Modernians.
